Hi, Amanda! I came to do some catch-up reading here...I must admit it's been awhile since I've been by...not because of lack of interest but because of lack of time, sigh. Your entry about comments and tags -- the lack thereof -- is so true. I get a lot of reader traffic at my blog, an average of 400-500 per day (I think that's a lot anyway, but I don't really know, hahaha!) and it's usually a handful of the regular readers who comment. I took off my tag board ages ago when we were all getting spammed. I think people were more apt to tag...quick and easy, I guess. I dunno...like I've always said, I'm here writing for MYSELF mainly, but it sure helps when people do say something. I've tried delurking posts, as many other bloggers have, and that doesn't kick on any gas either. Maybe it's mostly like my case, where I come by to read but I'm so pressed for computer time any more that, unless it's something that I REALLY need to speak up on, I read and move on. I see some blogs that will have 30 comments and think, WOW!! But when I go to look over the comments, half of them are the blog writer commenting on their commenters' comments, haha! Maybe blogs are becoming a passing fad, just like everything else eventually does. I find them fascinating, so I'll keep on reading. Have yourself a FANTABULOUS Christmas, Ms. Magick! (((((HUG))))
Better late than never
